On October 16th, ROTORCRAFT SUPPORT INC. (RSI), along with 17 generous co-sponsors, produced number 14 in the series of FAA-sanctioned Helicopter-specific IA renewal seminars. The seminar was held at the Marriot Hotel adjacent to the Bob Hope International Airport in Burbank CA.
This year 125 A&P maintenance professionals with IA certification were treated to eight hours of helicopter-specific technical information from some of the industry’s top technical representatives…”the best of the best..” as perennial emcee Mike Broderick calls them. The attendees were awakened with coffee and rolls in the morning, and sustained until the afternoon with a deli-style lunch, and finally rewarded with afternoon refreshments to savor when they received their attendance certificates at the conclusion of the seminar. Because of the diligent work by Deanna Keel, Chris Cancelosi, both from RSI; Gail Erwin, from Western Jets, and Chris Bowers from AVIALL, the seminar ran flawlessly.
Of course none of this would be possible without the generous support and commitment of Mr. Phil DiFiore, president/owner of ROTORCRAFT SUPPORT INC. Thanks to DiFiore for his foresight to launch this event and his fortitude to continue to produce it.
Finally, without the speakers and co-sponsors there would be no seminar, so the IA renewal team wishes to acknowledge and thank the following companies who provided speakers, as well as those companies who contributed as sponsors.
