Aviation Specialties Unlimited, (ASU) announces that it has added the Eurocopter EC155 model to its STC portfolio. The addition of this STC gives ASU 54 STC model/make configurations. The completion of the first ASU STC EC155 model was for the University of Michigan and was a combined effort of ASU, Metro Aviation and American Eurocopter.
“Our customers have diverse fleets of aircraft with unique missions,” says ASU’s Director of Marketing Hannah Gordon. “We continue to obtain STC’s to meet the needs of our customers. ”
The EC155 is operated by Pentastar Aviation for the University of Michigan Health Systems.
“A team from the University of Michigan Health Systems reviewed candidates for the modification and chose Metro Aviation and ASU,” says PentaStar Aviation Manager stationed at the University of Michigan Health Systems Jeff Dowdall. “They liked what they saw. ASU had previously done work on the Bell 430s and we have been very pleased with their work. The way ASU does their STCs it is easy to understand and easy for our pilots to comply with.”
“The first ECC 155 has been delivered and two more will follow.
