Explosion Proof Paint Spray Booth Lights

Larson Electronics announces that the EPL-48-2L fluorescent light, rated Class 1 and 2 Division 1, is now available with a 48-watt T8HO lamp. Suitable for both paint spray booths and explosion-proof applications, the Magnalight four-foot, two-inch lamp light is now available with T12HO, T5HO and now T8HO high output ballasts and bulbs.

The EPL-48-2L-T8HO features a 48-watt T8HO lamp and ballast with a Class 1 and 2 Division 1 housing which include a cast aluminum ballast box and frame. Each lamp is encased in a Pyrex tube and the tubes are bonded into the cast aluminum housing. An integrated junction box enables installers to make their connections and offers three separate NPT for conduit. Available as a surface-mount or pendant-mount configuration, the explosion-proof fluorescent light fixture also carries a paint spray booth rating. Accessory items for the unit include a full overspray shield for paint booth applications.
