The design allows the kit to be installed in combination with an Air Comm air conditioning system and still leaves 13 cubic feet of baggage space. If additional storage space is required, HELIFAB also offers a certified aft cabin area storage net solution.

Robinson Helicopter Company announces an optional 43-gallon auxiliary fuel tank for its R66 Turbine helicopter, extending the helicopter’s range by as much as 200 nautical miles (230 statute miles). The fuel tank mounts on a fiberglass tray that installs in the forward section of the baggage compartment. The tank occupies two-thirds of the compartment, leaving space for up to 100 pounds of cargo. Both the tray and tank can be removed when not needed.

Industry stakeholders are invited to see the world of Airbus Helicopters’ from a new perspective at the Heli-Expo trade show from March 1-3 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, KY. Each month, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) receives more than 100 reports from pilots and others who spot what appears to be an unmanned aircraft (UAS) flying close to an airport or a manned airplane. It’s become a serious safety concern for the agency and a potential security issue for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
