GlobalParts.aero Expands Focus as First-Time Exhibitor at Heli-Expo 2018

GlobalParts.aero is exhibiting for the first time at the 2018 Helicopter Association International (HAI) Heli-Expo in Las Vegas, NV, on Feb. 27-March 1. Working to further develop its parts business within the rotor-wing market, GlobalParts.aero continues to grow as a Kansas-based company from its inception in 2003.

Malissa Nesmith, chief operating officer for GlobalParts.aero, says, “We have been working for years with many of our partners that also serve the helicopter industry, and we continue to identify opportunities to further support our mixed-fleet customers. It is a natural progression for us to expand into rotor parts, and now we have key personnel in place to help us do just that. The Heli-Expo is a perfect venue to focus on these customers, and we are excited to be a part of the convention this year.”

GlobalParts.aero announced last year that industry veterans, George Canale and Bill Vickers, joined the company and brought a wealth of helicopter experience with them. “GlobalParts is well-established in fixed-wing support and already distributes many product lines that cross over into the rotor market. Our initial focus will be on mixed-fleet helicopter operators with the opportunity to be their one-stop shop for all their parts, repair and exchange needs. We are also looking forward to talking with OEMs while we are at Heli-Expo to discuss our advanced manufacturing and engineering solutions,” says Bill Vickers, business development executive for GlobalParts.aero.
