QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR

Job Summary:
HQ Aero is currently recruiting for QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTORS in EVERETT, WA

Responsibilities:
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will:

• Accomplish incoming preliminary inspections on aircraft/components in accordance with customer request cards or manufacturer39;s manuals.
• Ensure documentation of maintenance performed is as required by FAR39;s, Customers39; Repair Station Manual and Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program ( CAMP ).
• Accomplish final buy-back of maintenance performed.
• Accomplish in-progress inspections including clearance-to-close, torque verifications, dimensional checks, rigs, etc.
• As authorized by the customer, perform return-to-service and airworthiness releases on serviceable tags, aircraft logbooks, and FAA form 337.

Qualifications, Experience Requirements:

• Previous Commercial MRO experience - Highly skilled.
• Minimum of three (3) years of heavy aircraft maintenance experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience on 737/767/Airbus/Next Gen.
• GEN FAM ndash; 737, NextGen, A320 ndash; required.
• F.A.A. Airframe and Powerplant (AP) License - required.
• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Standard Tool Kit required.
• Criminal Background Check Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.

• Able to Interpret maintenance manuals, wiring prints, and engineering drawings.
• High level of professionalism and attention to details. Able to take direction and fit in with the team.
• Good documentation skills for work performed and turnovers.
• Work with little or no direction.
• Physical Demands: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Good vision and depth perception.
• Work Environment : FAR Part 135 aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment.
