COMPANY OVERVIEW:
MD Helicopters is a leading light helicopter manufacturer for civil and military operators worldwide.

JOB OVERVIEW:
Inspect, fabricate, repair, modify and install aircraft structural components, assemblies and subassemblies.
• Fabrication, modification and repair of sheet metal and structural components.
• Installs, aircraft structural components
• Corrects discrepancies using information from engineering drawings, or other documents as required
• Uses manufacturing planning, written instructions, blueprints and other applicable technical data to assemble, install or replace aircraft components
• Document all aircraft maintenance actions using the required maintenance forms
• Uses manufacturing shop stamp or test stamp to sign off completed work to include manufacturing

- MD Helicopters

SHIFT:
- Multiple shifts available
Repair Station
• 1st shift, 4/10 (5am-3:30pm, choice of M-TH or T-F)
• 2nd shift, 4/10 (3pm-1:30am T-F)
Production
• 1st shift, shift could be 5/8 (6am-2:30pm) or 4/10 (5am-3:30pm, choice of M-TH or T-F)
• 2nd shift, shift could be 5/8 (3pm-11:30pm) or 4/10 (3pm-1:30am, choice of M-TH or T-F)

OT SITUATION:
- A possibility but not guaranteed

CONTRACT DETAILS:
- Contract to hire, generally hired direct around 18 weeks but exact timeline dictated by attitude performance

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- minimum of high school education
- 1 or more years work-related experience

PREFFERED:
-5 or more years work-related experience or an equivalent of educational experience.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Must be able to layout and drill conforming holes, rivet sheet metal, fabricate, modify and repair Aircraft components.
• Must have the ability to read and interpret blue prints, engineering drawing and technical publications.
• Ability to use and maintain various pieces of ground support and test equipment as required.
• The ability to understand and follow instructions and the ability to concentrate is required.
