UH-1 Firefighting Pilots

Marble Mountain Helicopters is accepting resumes for seasonal UH-1 primary and relief Firefighting Pilots. The company is based in southwest Oregon. We are looking for pilots that have previous wildland firefighting experience. Vertical reference long-line experience is a must. The position will occasionally require overnights away from base.  Position requires pilots who are willing to perform authorized preventative maintenance, clean aircraft and other miscellaneous non-pilot duties. Job will require the physical capability of lifting, climbing, kneeling, etc. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, able to work without constant supervision, and will represent the company in a positive manner at all times.  Please provide the type of aircraft flown along with time and experience in each. Job Type: 
  • FAA commercial pilots certificate with rotorcraft helicopter rating
  • Current class II medical certificate
  • 2500 hrs pilot-in-command (PIC) in helicopters
  • 100 hrs UH-1 series/204/205
  • 200 hrs long-line/vertical reference
  • 200 hrs wildland firefighting
  • 100 hrs PIC time in last 12 months
  • 10 hrs UH-1 series in last 12 months
  • Applicants must meet the minimum OAS/USFS carding requirements
  • Current or recent carding is a plus
