FAA announces Draft AC 27-1x & 29-2x, Sections 27.573 & 29.573, DT&FE Composite Rotorcraft Structures Open for comment

These ACs are associated with the proposed rule - Damage Tolerance and Fatigue Evaluation of COMPOSITE Rotorcraft Structures. This advisory material provides an acceptable means of compliance with the provisions of §§ 27.573 and 29.573, Amendment XX, Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) dealing with the damage tolerance and fatigue evaluation of normal category composite rotorcraft structures.
