H.E.R.O.S. Inc. announces that Heros Kajberouni, founder of H.E.R.O.S. Inc., has been awarded the prestigious Charles Taylor Master Mechanic Award by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Named after Charles Taylor, the first aviation mechanic in powered flight and the man who built and maintained the engine for the Wright brothers, this award recognizes individuals who have exhibited exemplary dedication to the field of aviation maintenance for 50 or more years.

Billings Flying Service, Inc. (BFS) announces it has received FAA Restricted Category type certification for its surplus Boeing CH-47D Chinook helicopters. BFS acquired six CH-47D Chinooks from the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) in July 2023. Two of the aircraft have been added to the type certificate while the remainder are currently completing the certification process.

The Milestone Aviation Group Limited (“Milestone”), a provider in helicopter leasing, announces that it has signed lease agreements with Offshore Helicopter Services UK Limited (“OHS”) for four additional helicopters, including two new Leonardo AW139s, one new Airbus H175, and one Sikorsky S-92, which are scheduled to deliver in 2025 through 2026.
