Bell Announces the Delivery of Two Bell 407GXis to Louisiana State Police Department
Bell Textron Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, announces the delivery of two Bell 407GXis to the Louisiana State Police at APSCON 2024, bringing its total number of Bell aircraft to nine.
“The Louisiana State Police has been a long-time Bell customer, and we are honored that they have chosen the Bell 407GXi to further expand their fleet,” says Lane Evans, managing director, North America. “We are continuing to see a growing need for the Bell 407GXi platform in the public-safety arena for its advanced aerial capabilities.”
The Louisiana State Police’s Air Support Unit remains on-call, 24 hours a day, to provide emergency response assistance to all local, state and federal law-enforcement agencies within the state. With the added capabilities of the Air Support Unit’s new Bell 407GXis, the Louisiana State Police is expecting to significantly expand upon its public-safety mission portfolio.

The newly delivered aircraft will join the Air Support Unit’s seven other Bell aircraft, including a 407GXP, two 430s, a UH-1H, a UH-1V, a Huey II and a 206L-IV Long Ranger.
