S.A.F.E. Structure Designs, a provider of ergonomic safety-first aviation maintenance equipment, announces it has completed its contract with Next Era Energy of West Palm Beach, FL, designing, engineering and manufacturing OSHA-compliant maintenance stands and hangar equipment to outfit the first AW169 helicopter to enter the United States. The finalized maintenance stands are providing the mechanics with safe access around the helicopter, increased ergonomic efficiency for the technicians while working on the aircraft, and decreased damage to the helicopter’s exterior surface.

Larry Witte, senior manager of maintenance with Next Era Energy, says, “I am thankful for all the effort and support SAFE has given to NextEra Energy’s flight department in creating our maintenance stands for the AW169 Helicopter. Starting from the point of engineering to the onsite adjustments required after production, the SAFE staff was very concerned that we had stands that met our expectations. Thank you again for the outstanding support and emphasis SAFE places on customer satisfaction.”

“SAFE’s commitment to provide our customers with the highest quality of ergonomic customized equipment is what drives our persistence to exceed our customers' expectations. This is what makes us an industry dominator in customer service. We do whatever it takes to get the job done right, and our customers know that about us,” says Johnny Buscema, SAFE Structure CEO.
