Metro Aviation, Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced A&P Field Based Aviation Maintenance Technician (EC135) in Gallatin, Tennessee at the Vanderbilt LifeFlight Program.
The Sheetmetal Technician works under general supervision to safely layout, fabricate, and install parts, equipment and fabricated items on aircraft following established operating procedures. All work performed should be in accordance with company design specifications, quality standards and completed work should meet customer expectations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
ABOUT US
- Maintain airworthiness of helicopters
- Conduct inspections on helicopters – 50, 100, 150, 300 hrs and annual inspection
- Complete Transport Canada paperwork to keep helicopters legally in the air
- Maintain specifications – Airbus H130 and Bell 206
- Track lifts up and down on aircraft
Currently they have 4 full time heavy check lines going and are contracted with American and Amazon to do maintenance on Boeing 767 and 757. We currently turn 12 aircraft per night at the airport for Amazon Freight network! The maintenance checks take anywhere from 24 to 60 days. A lot of their work is Amazon and United right now and they do 4 different heavy checks (C-1 – C-4).

- Must be able to follow technical data and build up sheets
- All work to be completed under 145 Repair Station

- Great hourly pay rate with time and a half overtime
