Macro-Blue and Technisonic Unveil Integrated TDFM-9XXX Series Radio Control on Q-Series Mission Displays

Macro-Blue, a provider in advanced tactical display systems for public-safety and mission aviation, announces a partnership with Technisonic Industries Ltd., renowned for its multi-band airborne radios and communication systems. The collaboration introduces seamless integration of Technisonic’s TDFM-9000, 9100 and 9300 series radios directly into Macro-Blue’s Q-Series mission displays — delivering a new era of cockpit efficiency and operational capability.

The new solution empowers pilots and tactical flight officers (TFOs) to manage essential radio operations, including zone, channel, volume and selected radio tasks, through Macro-Blue’s intuitive display interface. By uniting radio controls with situational awareness tools, Macro-Blue and Technisonic are redefining how aircrews communicate and execute their missions.

• Universal Support: Integration covers TDFM-9000, 9100 and 9300 series radios, using existing connectors and a straightforward firmware upgrade for MCP-capable 9XXX radios
• Streamlined Workflow: Pilots and TFOs can access and control Technisonic radios alongside mapping, video and mission data — all on a single ruggedized Macro-Blue display
• Retained Radio Control: When integrated, standard TDFM controls and remote-control heads remain fully operational, provided an open connection is available on the MB Q-Series display
