Precision announces that it will begin monitoring its fleet of Airbus AS332 Super Puma helicopters with GPMS International’s health and monitoring system (HUMS), known as Foresight MX, in Q2 2024. Ordered in 2023, Precision will be the first AS332 operator to utilize advanced HUMS for firefighting support in the United States and beyond.

GPMS International announces that it has received a fleet order from PJ Helicopters for its Foresight MX, an all-in-one HUMS solution with predictive HUMS, engine monitoring, flight-data monitoring, and rotor track and balance capabilities. The order marks a major milestone in the integration of HUMS into the utility helicopter market.

Airbus Helicopters signs an agreement with Aerovel regarding the acquisition of Aerovel and its unmanned aerial system (UAS), Flexrotor, as part of a strategy to strengthen its portfolio of tactical unmanned solutions. Flexrotor is a small tactical unmanned aerial system designed for intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance (ISTAR) missions at sea and over land.
