Billings Flying Service

Billings Flying Service, Inc. (BFS) announces it has received FAA Restricted Category type certification for its surplus Boeing CH-47D Chinook helicopters. BFS acquired six CH-47D Chinooks from the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) in July 2023. Two of the aircraft have been added to the type certificate while the remainder are currently completing the certification process.

Billings Flying Service (BFS) performs final inspections and takes delivery of six Netherlands Defense Ministry surplus Boeing CH-47D Chinook helicopters. The sale was approved by the Netherlands’ Defense Material Sales committee at the end of 2022.
