Concorde Battery Corporation celebrates Chris Holder, who has been announced as a member of the 2025 South Carolina Aviation Hall of Fame inductee class. Holder is being honored and recognized for his unwavering dedication to advancing the industry’s safety and quality through education. He will be named during a special ceremony on Feb. 13, 2025, at the South Carolina Aviation Hall of Fame in Greenville, SC.

Registration is open for Concorde’s January 2025 Virtual IA Renewal Series. Now in its fifth year, the Virtual IA Renewal Series features maintenance training seminars focused on three disciplines: Piston Engine Starting, Turbine Engine Starting, and Rotorcraft. These courses are geared to engage and educate attendees worldwide.

Concorde Battery Corporation announces that it has trained more than 2,500 airmen so far this year with its new Virtual IA (Inspection Authorization) Renewal Series. Rather than cancel Concorde’s IA recurrent training events in 2021 due to the pandemic, Concorde has pivoted and created Concorde’s Virtual IA Renewal Series that provides the opportunity for airmen to complete the training necessary to renew their IA certificate through virtual classes provided free of charge.

Concorde® Battery Corporation presents the second event in the 2021 IA Renewal Series with support of the FAASTeam and Westchester Aviation Maintenance Association (WAMA). The Northeast Virtual Aviation Training Day/IA Renewal is an opportunity for mechanics and technicians to earn eight hours of recurrent IA training credit and eight hours of AMT credit.
