Airbus and Norwegian Air Ambulance Foundation to Develop CityAirbus NextGen’s Future Medical Missions in Norway

Airbus Helicopters partners with the Norwegian Air Ambulance Foundation to develop CityAirbus NextGen’s future missions for medical services in Norway. To this end, the parties will jointly measure the added value of electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft for a selection of medical-services use cases across the country to integrate the operational requirements right into the configuration of Airbus’ eVTOL.

Eve UAM, LLC (“Eve” or the “Company”), an Embraer company, announces that it has formalized the process for obtaining a type certificate for its eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing) aircraft with the Civil Aviation Agency of Brazil (Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil — “ANAC”). In doing so, Eve has reaffirmed its commitment to ANAC to demonstrate compliance with international technical standards and mandatory airworthiness requirements for eVTOL type certification.
