Airbus and European Partners Demonstrate Collaboration between Helicopters and Unmanned Systems

Airbus Helicopters and its partners conduct a full-scale demonstration of a manned-unmanned teaming (MUM-T) system developed as part of a project funded by the European Union and code-named MUSHER. The demonstration took place in France and Italy from Sept. 30 to Oct. 9 and involved multiple manned helicopters and unmanned systems connected to a single MUM-T network.

Leonardo exhibits its new Virtual and Extended Reality Simulator (VxR) for the first time with its motion system. The full-scale system features a cockpit, motion, and instructor console. It is now on display at Booth #6031 and is available for demos.

Leonardo announces a further expansion of its presence in the U.S. emergency medical service (EMS) market with two new contracts announced at the Air Medical Transport Conference. Contracts include two instrument flight rules (IFR) AW119Kx single-engines and one AW169 light intermediate helicopter for Life Link III and one AW169 for Intermountain Life Flight.
