Leonardo announces that emergency aerial service provider Avincis has placed 15 orders — 10 for the AW169 light intermediate and 5 for the AW139 intermediate twin-engine aircraft — in the framework of a fleet-modernization-and-reinforcement plan aimed at meeting a long-term rescue and offshore transport growth strategy.

Smith Myers announces it has been selected to be integrated on the Cormorant Search-and-Rescue Helicopter Mid-Life Upgrade (CMLU) project. The Smith Myers' ARTEMIS Mobile Phone Detection Location System has been chosen to be a key component of the upgrade.

RBI Hawker Australia announces that it has been appointed a rotor-blade repair service center for Leonardo Helicopters. The Brisbane-based facility has been operating in Australia since receiving its Part 145 maintenance organization approval from the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) in June 2021. It was appointed a customer service facility for Bell in July 2021.
