MD Helicopters announces the successful completion of the first MD 500E to MD 530F conversion, carried out at an MD Authorized Service Center, Thoroughbred Aviation, in Lexington, KY. This significant milestone reflects the strength of the MD Authorized Service Center network and MD Helicopters’ commitment to fleet upgrades by making it easier and less costly to upgrade MD aircraft.

MD Helicopters (MDH) announces the contract signing of an MD 530F with Special Missions training center in Argentina. The aircraft will be used for police, security and military training in heli-borne assault and reconnaissance operations at its state-of-the-art training center in La Pampa Province, Argentina.

MD Helicopters, LLC (MDH) announces the addition of Helint of Kenya, Africa, to its network of Authorized Service Centers (ASC). Helint becomes the first ASC in the East African region, solidifying MDH's commitment to providing exceptional service to its customers across the globe.

MD Helicopters (MDH) announces a contract signing with a Middle East customer to provide six Cayuse Warrior Plus Attack/Scout aircraft with precision weapons capability and six MD 530F glass cockpit upgrades. The twelve aircraft will support counter-insurgency and counter-terrorism operations by providing area security, tactical reconnaissance, convoy escort, and drug interdiction throughout the country. The armed MD 530F aircraft will receive glass cockpit upgrades at MD Helicopters in Mesa, AZ. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2024 for all twelve aircraft.

MD Helicopters, LLC (MDH) announces the Atlanta Police Department has signed a $10 million purchase agreement for two MD 530F helicopters. Additionally, the department has signed an agreement to convert one of its MD 500E helicopters to an MD 530F through MDH’s FAA-approved E-to-F conversion program.

MD Helicopters, Inc. (MDHI) announces it delivered an FAA-certified MD 530F model aircraft to High Line Helicopters (HLH) this month. This is part of MDHI’s successful FAA-approved E-to-F conversion program.

MD Helicopters, Inc. (“MD” or “the Company”) announces that it has entered into an asset purchase agreement with a creditor consortium led by Bardin Hill and MBIA Insurance Corporation (the “Creditor Consortium”). The Creditor Consortium will acquire nearly all of the Company’s assets and provide new capital to strengthen MD’s financial position and support the Company’s continued ability to manufacture and service its high-performance helicopters. The Company expects to continue its regular course of operations throughout the sale process and remains focused on serving its civil and military customers and working with suppliers as normal.

Helicopter Association International (HAI) announces MD Helicopters is the 2022 recipient of the Salute to Excellence Humanitarian Service Award. The award, sponsored by Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company, honors the person or people who best demonstrate the value of helicopters to the communities in which they operate by providing aid to those in need.
