Metro Aviation to Expand in 2026 with Addition of Three New Operations Customers

Metro Aviation, a provider in air-medical transport operations and aircraft completions, welcomes three new partners to its operations family: Children’s Nebraska, LifeFlight Eagle and Vanderbilt LifeFlight. These healthcare organizations join Metro’s growing network of air-medical programs committed to patient-centered, safety-focused transport solutions.
Children’s Nebraska, located in Omaha, is expanding its commitment to pediatric care by launching air-medical services with Metro Aviation and adding an EC145 to its fleet. This new partnership will enhance the hospital’s ability to deliver lifesaving care to children across the region, supported by Metro’s unmatched experience in pediatric and neonatal transport operations.
LifeFlight Eagle, based in Kansas City, has long been a pillar of critical-care transport in Missouri and Kansas and has a long history as the country’s fifth air-medical program. Its decision to partner with Metro underscores a shared commitment to quality, safety and clinical excellence. Together, the two organizations will continue to serve rural communities with a reliable and compassionate response when minutes matter most.
Vanderbilt LifeFlight, one of the most respected programs in the country and a long-time advocate for innovation in air-medical services, brings decades of clinical leadership and transport expertise. Metro Aviation is proud to support Vanderbilt as it continues to raise the bar for critical-care transport in the Southeast.
“These partnerships represent the heart of what Metro stands for — supporting world-class healthcare organizations in their mission to serve communities and save lives,” says Metro Aviation VP, Todd Stanberry. “We are honored to welcome Children’s Nebraska, LifeFlight Eagle and Vanderbilt LifeFlight to our Metro family.”
