Chartright Air Group, a provider of private aviation services in Canada, takes delivery of Canada’s first corporate ACH160. The helicopter will enter into service immediately, as the first to be delivered in North America, and will be available for charter later this summer.

Garmin Announces GI 275 Electronic Flight Instrument Certification for Airbus AS350 Helicopters

Garmin (NYSE: GRMN), announces supplemental type certification (STC) by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for the GI 275 electronic flight instrument in Airbus AS350 helicopters. A powerful solution for helicopter owners and operators, the GI 275 is a scalable, cost-conscious approach to an avionics upgrade that is a direct replacement for a variety of legacy primary flight instruments in the cockpit, including the primary attitude indicator, course deviation indicator (CDI), horizontal situation indicator (HSI), or the multi-function display (MFD).

MD Helicopters, LLC (MDH) announces the Atlanta Police Department has signed a $10 million purchase agreement for two MD 530F helicopters. Additionally, the department has signed an agreement to convert one of its MD 500E helicopters to an MD 530F through MDH’s FAA-approved E-to-F conversion program.

Swiss air-rescue service Rega orders a second batch of 12 five-bladed H145 helicopters to be operated from its mountain bases, replacing the current fleet of AW109SP helicopters. This new order follows an initial contract for nine H145s, announced in March this year. By 2026, Rega will operate an all-Airbus fleet consisting of 21 five-bladed H145s.
