Individuals from three Global Medical Response (GMR) operations from Oregon to Virginia are recognized for their remarkable contributions to the air medical and critical-care ground transport community by the Association of Air Medical Services (AAMS). The three people recognized will be given their awards Nov. 4 at the AAMS' 2019 Air Medical Transport Conference in Atlanta, GA.

Bell 407GXI Earns IFR Certification

Bell Textron Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT) company, announces the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued an instrument flight rules (IFR) supplemental type certificate (STC) for the Bell 407GXi. The certification is a requirement for the Navy Advanced Helicopter Training System competition, enabling the Bell 407GXi to replace the Bell TH-57 Sea Ranger as the U.S. Navy's training helicopter.
