Guardian Mobility expands its product line and receives Iridium certification for both its G6 and G6-S terminals. Ensuring maximum user experience in end-to-end connectivity, the G6 is the world’s first and only truly mid-band bi-directional 88/88 Kbps terminal in an all-in-one design. The G6-S terminal features the same capabilities and features but allows for an external antenna configuration and is specifically aimed at the UAV/drone and fixed-wing high-altitude market.

Astronautics Corporation of America is selected by Erickson Incorporated to upgrade 12 S-64 Air Crane® helicopters with a glass cockpit solution that includes Astronautics’ Badger Pro+ Gen 2.0 integrated flight display system, engine data concentrator unit (EDCU), and AeroSync Mission connectivity system. Astronautics will also be responsible for the avionics systems integration testing and functional verification for the upgrade.
